Family violence includes any act of violence or abuse inflicted by one family member onto another, including physical, sexual, emotion, economic abusive acts, as well as neglect.
Family violence is also known as “domestic violence” or “intimate partner violence.” Forms of family violence include gaslighting behaviors, coercive controlling behaviors, parental alienating behaviors, and brainwashing and programming of children to use them as weapons against the other parent.
